What is Wild Horse 99.7 FM Community Radio all about?

Wild Horse is a community not-for-profit, volunteer-led organisation bringing companionship and music to our communities including Blackbutt, Benarkin, Cooyar, Nanango and Yarraman.

Thanks to our recent Sponsors, Grant Providers, and Volunteers we have:

  • Launched the Wild Horse Wellness program promoting physical and mental well-being in our community.
  • Brought on a slew of new presenters and volunteers.
  • Updated our station’s connectivity to ensure smooth operation and streaming of our content.
  • Launched the Yarraman P-9 State School Radio Club with three one-hour student led shows per week.
  • Supported local community events including:
    • Yarraman Festival
    • Yarraman Show n Shine
    • Yarraman Emergency Services Day & Colours of Yarraman
    • Rosalie North Landcare Mental Wellness Bus Tour
    • Yarraman Heart Foundation Walking Group – join us at 7am every Monday at the Driver Reviver Hut at Errol Munt Park
    • Women’s Health Community Catch Up
