Frank – Co-host Shoot The Breeze
Frank is one of the friendly interviewers on Shoot the Breeze, a popular program that features captivating conversations with local people. He was born and raised on a dairy farm and continues to farm in the region. Frank has deep roots in the community and a passion for sharing its stories. His love for storytelling and keen interest in people give him a unique perspective that brings authenticity and insight to every interview.
When he’s not behind the microphone, Frank can be found attending local events, connecting with residents, and lending his expertise to help the station secure vital funding through grant applications. Frank’s warm personality and local knowledge make him a valued member of the team and a favourite voice among listeners.
Jane – Let the Sun Shine In
Let the Sun Shine In on Wednesday mornings from 9am to 11am with Jane’s unique blend of upbeat and bright, easy listening music with heart. Local stories, what’s on and community conversation. A positive and welcoming 2 hour ray of sunshine !
Heidi – In the Groove, Heidi’s Hour, Heidi’s Airwaves
I am a nanna who loves groove tunes. Volunteering for Wild Horse FM gives the the joyful opportunity of sharing music that I enjoy with a wider community.
I also get to work with a great team of community minded people. Together we add something very positive into the lives of others.
Heidi can be heard from Friday 10am – 1pm & 9pm, Saturday 6 to 9am & Sunday Noon
Maya – Start the Morning, Evenings with Maya
I live in the South Burnett & love the freedom of nature around me, amongst the ole Gum trees & the occasional Koala walking by, with the Kooku’s following me around when working outside.
I love music, especially the 60’s & thru the 70’s, good ole Creedence Clearwater Revival and Bob Marley, yet also love the old classics of Marvin Gaye, Everly & the Walker brothers, brilliant voices, & lets not forget Elvis. There are also some amazing newer bands out there such as the Killers, Xavier Rudd to name just a few.
Cheers to the enjoyment of music, what a thankful mood changer it is!

I absolutely love the South Burnett and volunteering for Wild Horse FM. From an early age music was in my blood. Learning the piano and guitar as a child my love for music has always been strong. I have fun dancing around the house to my favourite tunes when no one is looking, you should try it sometime. Music brings joy and takes you back in time to so many memories . I grew up in the 60s 70s BEST music ever.
Come join me on Mondays and Tuesdays 12 to 3pm and Fridays 2 to 5pm.
